It was a different world from Delhi, when I came to Chennai in 1994 - different culture, outlook and life style. But over the year Chennai’s beautiful sensibility and style seeped into me and now its ‘Namma Chennai”. Here is ‘what makes me, love Chennai’ through the lens of my camera...

And... the incessant rains, when it rains |
|
Numerous Temple's tucked in almost all corners of Chennai... |
|
Give way to celebrations of North Indian festicals like Diwali, with
Sounth Indian Kollam... |
|
... and it feels like home, with Durga Puja celebration, which
many Bengali associations organise |
|
And ofcourse friends around to give you that Holi Touch |
|
Many cultural programs in Chennai like this one of Abida Praveen,
ensures that you are still connected to North |
|
And then the opportunity like this one, where you get to shoot with Cheran
for a film... |
|
And lunch with visiting Gernman friends on the beach.... makes me fall
in love with Namma Chennai. |
|
I just wish, the cooum river will change to make Namma Chennai truly
beatiful. |
